Dear Candidates,We are looking for Food Technologist at Hyderabad location with M.Tech Food.Position : Dy./ Manager R & D (Non-dairy products)Educational Qualification : B.Tech (Food Technology) plus M.Tech (FT) mandatoryPreferred Industry : Cereal, pulse and millet based product development and manufacturing.Experience : 6 to 10 years.Scope of workManage end-to-end development of non-dairy food products.Should posses knowledge about raw material characteristics, handling and manufacturing technologies of cereal, pulses and millet related product.An experience with manufacturing and/or R & D of non-dairy food products is preferred.Exposure to development and scaleup of products at third party locations shall be preferred.Understanding of analytical techniques, their principles and deciphering the results to product characteristic is a must. A thorough understanding of FSSAI regulations pertaining to non-dairy foods and food categorization system is a must. Capabilities to seamlessly work with cross functional teams across the organization and third party manufacturing location. Managing and mentoring a team of interns to upgrade their skills and ensure delivery of products involving thorough science and technology applications.Knowhow on the validation of product development activities to ensure and incorporate robhustness in the formulations. Ability to make cost effective formulations with clean labeling.Be appraised with latest, pricing trends of materials & continuously come up with new product / cost optimization ideas, evaluate the ideas and prioritize PD pipeline based on feasibility analyses.Establish, Update & Maintain a network of knowledge resources to get an early advantage of innovation / technology. Work effectively with team members across multiple departments, RPM / Equipment vendors and service providers, statutory bodies, institutions to deliver products against an ambitious timeline and to a high standard.Provide cohesion among cross-functional stakeholders, facilitating problem-solving and adding structure for resolution. Providing project status documents that clearly report progress, budgets, issues and risks as well as analyzing information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Business intelligence on competitive products and technologies. Proactively assure quality by ensuring SOP adherence, PRPs, Hygiene , Validating processes, designing and implementing HACCP, conducting Internal audits, coordinating external FSMS (FSSC22000), Legal and other audits / visits etc., Establish quality standards, specifications as per legal and consumer requirements. Responsible for R&D activities of non-dairy products in terms of nutritional superiority.
