Job Description

    Manager- Tendering For Transmission lineRole & responsibilities
    • Identification of business opportunities for Transmission line projects for bidding.
    • Preparing synopsis of requirements from tender documents.
    • Conducting Tender synopsis meeting with management for bid or no bid decision.
    • Proper assessment of all risks during tender and presenting to management with mitigation plan.
    • Actively pursuing for joint venture and formation of agreement with JV partners after finalizing scope of work wherever it is needed.
    • Co-ordinate with various stakeholders like design team, execution/ site, engineering, commercial, taxation supply chain, plants and legal etc.
    • Co-ordinate with RO teams for all essential inputs / data / rates for site construction estimation.
    • Co-ordinate with procurement teams for all essential inputs / data / rates for bought out items and preparing comparative sheet for further negotiations with vendors.
    • Preparing costing sheet for effective bidding.
    • Preparing competitive and comprehensive Tender Proposals.
    • Ensuring bid techno-commercial proposal is prepared as per the tender requirement without any lapse. Preparation of Win- Loss and SWOT analysis and presenting to management.
    • Ensuring timely collection of EMD BG / DD of finalized tenders.
    • Keeping track of competitors data and analyzing their bidding strategy and discussing with immediate superior.
    • Ensuring prompt response process to any customer needs or queries.
    • Preparation of Project Handing over Report and handover the project to Project Management Team post award.
    • Participating in Internal/External Audits and ensuring compliance to internal process i.e ISO, SOP, risk review requirements etc for tendering related matter.
    • Regular study of market trends, competitor portfolio analysis etc. and formulating the strategy for the company to bid.
