Job Description

  • The work you ll be doing will support multiple business critical applications within the provisioning domains.
  • You and your team will provide applications support and deliver reliable and efficient systems-related solutions.
  • The projects you manage will improve the applications used by your colleagues every day to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Adjusting projects to adapt to changing requirements and involving IT resources from other areas.
  • Managing project budgets and adjusting project plans to meet deadlines.
  • Ensuring projects are staffed effectively and follow appropriate systems life cycles.
  • Developing and leading project status updates with client groups and IT teams.
  • Leading, developing and bringing out the best in your team.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Planning projects, training, objectives, timelines, deliverables and milestones for the Self-service suite of applications.
  • Working closely with a highly talented and skilled pool of Software development Engineers, you shall be responsible to drive the next level of features, while guiding and mentoring the team.
  • Ensuring the integrity of software architecture, operational excellence and quality, delivering results on time and tracking project milestones.
  • Creating clear career paths for team members and help them grow with regular deep mentoring. Perform regular performance evaluation and share and seek feedback.
  • Driving thought leadership within the team and pave ways to innovative ideas and solutions that will enhance the overall customer experience and provide a competitive edge over competition.

You ll need to have:

  • Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with JAVA, SQL, XML, C++.

Even better if you have:

  • Master s degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience managing global resources.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) license.
  • Experience leading a technical team

In addition:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing large scale enterprise grade applications using micro services based architecture for more than 2 years.
  • Practical experience of implementing Agile (SCRUM) based approach in medium to large organizations.
  • Good hands-on experience in delivering tools and automation in a Public Cloud and thorough understanding on security engineering and compliance in public cloud.
  • Knowledge of various emerging technologies like Spring React, Spring Boot & Cloud, Reactive programming.
  • Exposure to No SQL tools like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Coherence.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Linux, Application Virtualization, AWS Cloud, Jenkins, Confluences is needed.
  • Exposure to automating infrastructure with technologies such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
  • Certifications - PMP, Java, Cloud.
  • Experience managing global resources.
