  • Must be good in understanding the Manufacturing requirements and able to translate into process/operation sequences.
  • Can convert Engineering BOM to Manufacturing BOM. Also be able to convert engineering changes to applicable material changes for manufacturing s understanding.
  • Prepare SAP routings for assemblies in SAP-PP module
  • Able to independently make PFMEA and derive control plan and poka-yoke requirements with applicable process flow diagram (PFD), work instructions, operator workbook and Quality checklist.
  • Can design necessary fixtures, tools and material handling requirements for carrying out manufacturing process.
  • Able to identify process sequences with time study and line balancing. Should be able to design manufacturing layout drawing as per operation/process sequences and suggest modifications for improvement.
  • Able to estimate cycle time and standard hours for each process with required manpower.
  • Knowledge on sheet metal fabrication, various welding techniques and its standards with understanding on holding fixtures.
  • Active participation in design reviews with engineering and suggest design solutions to improve manufacturability of the product.
  • Strong communicator and negotiator.
  • Solicit customer requirements and transform them into solutions with our suppliers.
  • Proactive approach to solve unplanned or conflicting issues and work with defined processes.
  • Plan their own workload and deliver it on-time and to the right quality.
