Job Description

Point of Sale (POS) is a suite of application systems geared to support users within several internal departments to process a variety of customer transactions, including equipment sales and ordering, airtime service sales, bill payments, equipment returns and repairs, account maintenance, pricing, inventory and discounting and rebates.

  • Code, validate and implement software solutions and code reviews.
  • Gain knowledge on the existing system architecture and flow.
  • Participate in the application requirements review meetings and perform requirement analysis.
  • Translate customer business issues/opportunities into technical solution/business requirements.
  • Work effectively under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
  • Handle change requests/support on a daily basis.
  • Involve in all phases of the development cycle and analyze gaps on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure to improve performance of the application on an ongoing basis.
  • Mentor/guide new team members.
  • Partner with QA team to address the identified defects on time.
  • Participate in post implementation issues and performance review.

What we re looking for.

You ll need to have:

  • Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree or Master s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
  • Experience with large scale transformation initiatives primarily on Systems of Engagement/Customer Interaction Channels.
  • Experience with Java JSP, HTML.
  • Knowledge of Spring Boot/Spring Reactive Services, Cloud, Application Security, and Agile development.
  • Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, and ability to work with teams as well.
  • Excellent quantitative, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet critical deadlines.
