In this role, he/she would be responsible for IP and SOC RTL Design & Integration, RTL Design quality checks.Meeting the demands of the fast changing project schedule, the successful candidate will be a member of the Server SOC RTL team responsible for developing and delivering IP and SOC RTL to various Server SOCs. He/she will demonstrate enthusiasm toward design, design verification, be a team player, a problem solver with independence, creativity and organizational skills.RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Designing/enhancing IP blocks
    • Work with architects & Design leads - work on micro architecture & design PPA efficiency
    • RTL coding and delivering collators do downstream teams
    • Run and make sure all RTL design quality checks are clean
    • Work with Verification team and contribute to test plans for high quality IP/block
    • Work with Synthesis and PD teams and improve frequency and power
    • Establishes and maintains AMDs technological leadership position in an area
    • Deals with problems requiring cutting edge approaches and champions innovation
    REQUIREMENTS :
    • BS +5 years or MS + 3 years work experience preferred.
    • Should have experience in successful taping out minimum of 2-3 SOCs
    • Should have hands on experience of IP design, SOC RTL Integration, IP & Subsystem Integration
    • Should have prior experience of configuring NIC400 to cater multiple AXI masters/slaves
    • Low power design and UPF creation
    • IORING creation and closely work with PD and Package team
    • Floorplan friendly logic partition, SOC level connectivity and repeater planning
    • Good understanding of industry standard interfaces & protocols like AXI4.
    • IP-XACT knowledge is an advantage
    • Proficient in Lint, CDC, RDC, Power checks (VSI) and other RTL design quality checks
    • Should be closely work with SOC Architects, IP teams and SOC cross functional teams like DV, PD, DFT, Emulation.
    • Hands on with version control tools like perforce and scripting languages like tcl/perl/ruby/phython
    • Should be able to quickly learn flows/methodologies
