Global Operational Visibility (GOV) team is seeking an Application Performance Monitoring tools experienced individual with hands-on experience in implementing automated monitoring and event suppression during component maintenance. The responsibilities include fault tolerant and Highly Available metric and event collection infrastructure, Develop effective log monitoring systems, Responsible for the development of comprehensive operational Dashboards for system infrastructure and applicationsManagement of the monitoring tools for Application Performance Management, Time Series based systems, application metrics, alerting & monitoring configurations, API operational monitoring, UI operational testing, and log scanning and alerting systems based on ELK Responsible for overseeing the implementation and configuration of the application event collection, metrics collection, and correlations layers for the Applications Responsible for implementing automated monitoring and event suppression during component maintenance Present reports on monitoring event metrics, application performance, and event correlations on a regular schedule Implement fault tolerant and Highly Available metric and event collection infrastructure Develop effective log monitoring systems Work directly with the vendors to manage the tools and associated infrastructure platform Responsible for the development of comprehensive operational Dashboards for system infrastructure and applications Work with the cross functional teams to conduct Production Readiness Reviews to ensure the applications have effective application metrics collection, proper logging, operational API monitoring, operational UI testing, and system level metrics collection10+ years experience in Information Technology (IT) or related area Extensive experience with Application Monitoring Tools such as Dynatrace / New Relic / AppDynamics / CA Intrascope & Logging Systems like Elastic Search Hands on experience in Python / GOLANG will be preferred Should be comfortable working in a predominantly Unix / Linux environment Knowledge in Elastic stack - Beats, Logstash. 3+ years experience in an Application Monitoring role Strong organizational and communication skills,
