Job Description (JD) Incumbent to develop Iron Castings for Roof Drains, Floor Drains, Trench Grates, Frames, other grating and plumbing parts in Water management application. Possess Good Exposure in Local supplier base for Iron Castings, Bronze Castings, and sanitary ware and water flow & control valves. Incumbent to work in line to organizational goals and objectives. Aware of EHS policies and comply with International standards like ISO & OSHAS at supplier. Incumbent to Work Closely with Stake holders in Identifying, assessing and auditing the foundries based on Rexnord requirements. Incumbent to negotiate with supplier for cost reduction with preparation, Development and closure practice to achieve win-win to both parties. Incumbent is responsible to achieve the targeted OTD and targeted Quality with in stipulated timelines. Work closely in alignment with Process Owners, develop and optimize end-to-end process for product development till PSW Sign-off and Production Take off. Incumbent to review the Production Process as per Control plan and ensure that supplier is adhered to the approved Control plan and quality processes. Expedite the Orders and Report daily updates to stake holders. Proactively Identify Obstacles and work for contingency plans and alternate solutions. Focus on continuous improvement of processes at supplier end and mentor supplier in achieving the production requirements inline to organization needs. Explore and implement the cost reduction opportunities and work inline to global markets for same. Incumbent is a single point of contact between the supplier and accounts payable to resolve payment related issues. Experience to take sound and ethical decisions in the difficult situations and can manage the stress in adverse situations. Project planning and execution is to be done precisely and ensure that project needs are achieved, gaps to be identified and action plan is made to fill the gaps Competencies / Skills: Should possess strong people management skill, Interpersonal Skills and exhibit leadership behaviour. Strong Communication skills required to communicate concisely with stakeholders about any uncertainties in the productions processes. Obligatory to read drawings, GD&T requirements and communicate effectively with Suppliers. Should Possess Knowledge on different casting material grades and its testing requirements for qualification. Strong knowledge on Root Cause analysis in case of NC, 8D reporting and problem solving abilities. Should possess skills in MS Project or other Project Management tools. Knowledge on FAI activities, PPAP and Bulk Production documentation. Should be able to work on KANBAN and other tools in managing the schedules and should be able to communicate to suppliers effectively Strong interpersonal skill, Team player, collaborative and Executive presence Exposure to Six Sigma design/ Innovation methodology, various production systems Good knowledge in product development process and methodology Understanding the legal issues involved in managing contracts and aware of EXIM regulations, Ability to communicate effectively through presentations, email, one-on-one, and team discussion Should be able to work independently and should have results driven mindset Travel will be 50% of work ,
