Location: Mumbai, IndiaReporting To: Chief Investment Officer (CIO)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Vice President Operations tooversee the end-to-end operational management of our category II Alternative InvestmentFund (AIF) platform. The incumbent will be responsible for investor onboarding, regulatorycompliance, fund accounting, NAV computation, coordination with service providers, andensuring seamless day-to-day functioning of the fund.The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of SEBI AIF Regulations, fundoperations, investor servicing, and financial reporting requirements, coupled with the abilityto work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities1. Investor Onboarding & Investor Servicing- Manage the end-to-end investor onboarding process for new investors, includingcollection and verification of documentation.- Coordinate and oversee KYC, AML, FATCA, and CRS requirements in accordancewith applicable regulations.- Review subscription agreements, commitment documentation, and investor records toensure completeness and compliance.- Maintain investor registers and ensure accurate record-keeping within the fundadministration system.- Address investor operational queries and support investor reporting requirements.2. Regulatory Compliance & SEBI Liaison- Monitor compliance with the provisions of the SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds)Regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements.- Coordinate the preparation and submission of responses to SEBI queries, notices, andinformation requests.- Work closely with compliance consultants, legal advisors, and auditors to ensureadherence to regulatory obligations.- Assist in periodic regulatory filings and disclosures required under SEBI regulations.- Maintain compliance calendars and track key regulatory deadlines.3. Fund Accounting & Financial Operations- Oversee fund accounting activities, ensuring accurate recording of all fundtransactions.- Review capital call calculations, drawdowns, distributions, and carried interestcomputations.- Coordinate the preparation of periodic financial statements and reports.- Liaise with auditors during statutory and internal audits and facilitate timely closureof audit requirements.- Monitor cash flows and ensure reconciliation of bank accounts and investmenttransactions.4. NAV Calculation & Reporting- Prepare and/or review periodic Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for the fund inaccordance with applicable valuation policies and regulatory guidelines.- Coordinate with valuation agencies and investment teams to obtain accurate portfoliovaluations.- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of investor-level reporting and capital accountstatements.- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual performance reports for investors andmanagement.5. Fund Operations Management- Manage the day-to-day operations of the fund, ensuring operational efficiency andadherence to established processes.- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controlsfor fund activities.- Coordinate the execution of capital calls, investment funding, interest distributions,and redemption-related activities (where applicable).- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives withinthe operations function.- Support new fund launches and operational setup activities.6. Stakeholder & Third-Party Management- Act as the primary point of contact for external service providers, including fundadministrators, custodians, trustees, legal advisors, auditors, compliance consultants,registrars, and valuation agencies.- Monitor service delivery standards and ensure timely completion of deliverables bythird-party consultants.- Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholdersto support fund operations.Qualifications & Experience- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), CFA, Company Secretary (CS), orequivalent professional qualification.- 610 years of relevant experience in fund operations, fund accounting, AIFadministration, or financial services.- Prior experience working with Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Private EquityFunds, Venture Capital Funds, or Real Estate Funds will be preferred.- Strong understanding of SEBI AIF Regulations, investor onboarding requirements,and fund accounting principles.- Experience in handling regulatory correspondence and responding to SEBI queries ishighly desirable.- Familiarity with NAV computation methodologies and valuation processes.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.Key Competencies- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- High attention to detail and accuracy.- Excellent organizational and project management skills.- Ability to Locati
