Job Title Module Lead Description 1. 6 8 / 8 12 years of Oracle Production support experience as ORACLE DBA (Oracle 9i, 10g/11g / 12c Oracle RAC) on Linux, AIX, Solaris and Windows platforms 2. Create upgrade and migration schedules and plans in a way so as to minimize the impact on production and mission-critical systems 3. Experience in Oracle Database installation, configuration, support 4. Oracle RAC installation, configuration, Support 5. Database creation, Database Estimation/Sizing, Licensing 6. Experience with Oracle Replication (Streams, Advanced replication, Materialized views) 7. Very good knowledge and experience of Backup and Recovery RMAN including exposure to plan and strategize backup and recovery operations 8. Very good SQL and Shell scripting knowledge, cron jobs, DBMS jobs 9. Excellent in Database(Primary/Standby) troubleshooting skills, Analyse SQL Query performance and Performance Tuning using AWR, ADDM 10. Improve application performance through regular Health Checks and Performance Tuning. 11. Proactive on going tuning of database objects and structures to improve operational efficiency. 12. Analyze databases for worst performing SQL and coordinate with application support or development teams to tune application code 13. Set up, document, and execute procedures for regular tuning and maintenance of database structures according to the service provider and industry best practices. 14. Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) configuration and trouble shooting 15. Management of database resources (assignment of tablespaces, space in HD, update system parameters, etc.) 16. Management of corporate monitoring tools: OEM, RMAN, SolarWinds, Toad, Oracle SQL Developer; monitoring of events associated with the applied technologies 17. User and Security management, Access review 18. Sound knowledge of Oracle RAC clusters, ASM, Dataguard, 10g/11g/12c Grid control 19. Plan growth and changes (capacity planning) 20. Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required 21. Database/Grid Patch Management and Version Control 22. Preferred managing the replication solutions with Data Guard / Active Data Guard / Far Sync 23. Report root cause and provide recommendations to ensure the issue does not recur. Take all steps necessary to implement recommendations. 24. Coordinate with DB vendors for any Database related issues or patches, track issues through service calls and communicate users/business team on status. 25. Sound knowledge to coordinate with Oracle corporation support/ Metalink SR support 26. Perform Vulnerability assessment test on the database and report the same with remedial measures. Maintain Minimum Security Baselines (MSB) as the best practices for the organization. 27. OCP 10g/11g/12c RAC and ITIL V3 Certification preferred 28. Excellent & Effective Communication Skills 29. Must-Have Mandarin and English speaking skills 30. Added advantage Cantonese skills ,
