Job Description

Job Role: Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant Experience : 08 To 15 Years Business Activities:

  • Responsible HRIS Techno-Functional Lead for Oracle Fusion HCM as part of the Technology HRIS Team
  • Guide HRIS and HR Services, Payroll services colleagues on all aspects of the use of Fusion HCM and industry best practice seeking guidance from others including Oracle as needed.
  • Working with teams to ensure scheduling and management of Processing, Upgrades and Changes are in place including peer to peer testing and User Acceptance Testing are performed.
  • Lead Design, build and implement support solutions to meet business requirements working closely with third party application support teams.
  • Manage Root Cause Analysis is undertaken following any Major Incident in Fusion to resolve and avoid repeated issues
  • Maintain, review and monitor functional configuration on a day to day basis
  • Dealing with Oracle system issues raised by internal and external contacts and initiating the appropriate action to ensure that they can be resolved speedily
  • Engaging with the Finance team as Fusion is a Shared Platform and we need to work together to maintain performance and ensure changes do not inadvertently impact other processes.
  • Support ad-hoc data requirements from business using SQL Developer,
  • Support other HRIS Activities within the Team as needed and expertise permitting
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
  • Relevant Degree ideally in Business, IT or Engineering, Oracle Accreditations appropriate to the role
Specialist Skills and Experience Required
  • Experience of Oracle Fusion HCM Delivery & Support/Configuration and continued Support in a Lead Techno-Functional role
  • Detailed knowledge of Oracle HCM modules including HCM Core, Self-Service and ideally knowledge of payroll
  • Good understanding of the Oracle technology stack including AOL, EBS Schema, SQL,PL/SQL, Able to show strong technical competence and experience delivering solutions to complex business requirements and processes with configurable solutions
  • Significant proven development experience and administrative support in HCM systems with 2 years in Oracle Fusion HCM using Oracle Applications framework development tools like SQL, BI Publisher, PL/SQL, HDL, Spreadsheet Loaders, Fast Formulas, Security, Workflow, REST/API
  • Understanding integrations within the Enterprise Systems landscape in relation to HR Data
  • Experience in HR Data Migration ideally to Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud services.
  • Excellent communication skills (English), as will be good collaboration/team-working skills required to work closely with both business stakeholders and technical IT resources.
