Job Description

Greetings from Ementor Enterprises Pvt Ltd.!We are hiring Optometrist to work in an Esteemed Showroom.The candidates should have the following requirements:Responsibilities:

  • Perform vision tests and analyze results
  • Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness and eye diseases, such as glaucoma
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
  • Provide treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation
  • Provide pre- and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgeryfor example, examining a patients eyes the day after surgery
  • Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes and refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed
  • Promote eye health by counseling patients, including explaining how to clean and wear contact lenses
  • Advise patients about proper eye hygiene and care
  • Determine each patients visual acuity, field of vision and hand-eye coordination
  • Take detailed medical histories for all patients, including current and past prescription medications
  • Evaluate eye-related symptoms, such as discharge, redness and inflammation
  • Prescribe corrective lenses when required
  • Educate patients on proper eye care
  • Able to perform common ophthalmic diagnostic procedures.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience working as an optometrist
  • State-issued license for optometry.
  • Education: Diploma/B.SC (Optometry)
  • Excellent customer service and organization skills
  • Advanced time management skills
  • Ability to diagnose and treat eye-related disorders and conditions
  • Able to manage a store
  • Fluency in Hindi and Telugu is Must.
  • Base location should be Hyderabad.
