Job Description

Within MCS, the Modern Delivery and Consulting Product Management (CPM) practice is a group of Product Owners, Product Managers, UX Designers, Tech Leads, Product Line Architects, and full-stack engineers that design, build, and operate cloud based products in collaboration with our customers. This team is outcome-focused, product-centric, outside-in user experience driven, and squad based, meaning that squads and product units stay together across customer assignments. These high performing product squads and consulting product units have industry focus (for example Finance-Underwriting), or technology focus (for example medical imaging machine learning classification), or both.OSS:Proven hands-on project experience, preferable in large-scale customer environments with some of the following:

  1. Have experience in
        • Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Hibernate.
        • Web based technologies.
        • Application/ web servers: JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere.
        • Data base technologies like Oracle PL/SQL, Mongo DB, etc.
  1. Good understanding and experience of OSS (Open-Source Software), CI-CD tools, other tools - Jenkins/Hudson, JUnit, GIT, Selenium etc.
  2. Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) / Micro-services/ Distributed Architecture
  3. Understanding of Cloud design patterns and similar Java patterns. E.g., Hystrix for circuit breakers, Lettuce for Redis, Flux/Mono/Reactive for APIs etc.
  4. Understanding of programming paradigms such multi-threaded program design.
  5. Experience in Pre-sales, propose solutions with focus on Cloud adoption, proposals (RFP, RFI) are mandatory
  6. Experience in any Integration technology, queue technologies like RabbitMQ / Kafka and API Management
  7. Good understanding and experience in SDLC process (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall)
  8. Excellent technical and analytical skills
  9. Experience in working with clients to understand requirements, come up with the product architecture, design and estimate efforts required to move the application to Cloud.
  10. Azure PaaS and IaaS knowledge will be preferable.
  11. Experience in Open-Source Tools/Technologies will be preferable
  12. Experience in Requirements Elicitation and translating them to design and implementation. Good understanding of Architecture Frameworks and Non Functional requirements.

  • Should be highly credible with demonstrable ability to solve business problems and able to explain the benefits to the customer ranging from Business value to mastering deep technical explanations if needed

  • Experience in Team Leadership, working with project management/project stakeholders and pre-sales activities.
  • Strong time, project, and priority management skills
