Job Description

  • Participate in all phases of the Software product development from product definition to final release.
  • Guide/coach - P/E - Testers on Mass Spectrometry Domain.
  • Responsible for coordinating with the efforts of a team of product evaluation test engineers and scientists.
  • Communicate project status and issues to other functional teams, stakeholders and management.
  • Running Instrument test protocols for Factory Accept Testing / Instrument performance evaluation and Software use.
  • Imparting knowledge to software professional on Mass Spectrometry domain.
  • Document test results, feedback on improvement areas of Software functionality etc .
  • Participate in project planning and progress tracking.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Candidate Educational & Professional Experience Requirement:
  • Bachelor s or master s in chemistry/Engineering / Bioinformatics/ Instrumentation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 13 Yrs of experience working /Testing software, related to Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography / Analytical Instruments.
  • Computer programming skills: Python, Java Script, Pearl -- Preferable
  • Good understanding of the Lab environment, Instrument working principles, instrument application knowledge ( Method Building, Sample submission, Results evaluation etc)
  • Deep understaning on Mass Spectrometry product Industry needs and Product applications.
