As a Performance Engineering Leader, you play a crucial role in ensuring the products delivered by Revenue Cloud are scalable to meet the enterprise-scale expectations.If you are one who likes to influence and lead the cloud towards solving complex scale challenges for products in a distributed multi-tenant architecture on the cloud, we would love to hear from you.Job Responsibilities

  • Define the long-range vision for performance engineering group in the cloud
  • Represent the Cloud as Performance Engineering leader across clouds internally and also during customer meetings
  • Be a multiplier by leading a team of performance engineers to improve the scalability of the features delivered
  • Gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable performance engineering plan
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-cloud engineering teams/interdisciplinary teams to meet dependencies
  • Influence architecture and roadmaps by offering solutions for performance and scale challenges.
  • Managing, Inspiring, Coaching and Growing the careers of team members
  • Ability to motivate people, instill accountability, autonomy, and achieve consistent results.
Required SkillsManagement Skills:
  • Experience in managing, building, and recruiting a growing engineering team
  • Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, coaching, motivation and conflict resolution
  • Time management and project management
  • Strong understanding of business requirements and prioritization
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • 3 years managing a team of 5 or more
Engineering Skills:
  • Experience in optimizing performance and scale challenges
  • Experience in production performance monitoring
  • Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript or any other programming language.
  • Knowledge of Database, SQL performance, SQL tuning and optimization.
  • Ability to identify limitations and offer solutions to challenging engineering problems.
  • 5 years working experience on Cloud-based solutions
  • Bachelor s/Master s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
Desired Skills
  • Led a group of performance engineers who focussed on ensuring high scale and high availability for complex products
  • Experience in products related to revenue operations business domain
