Job Description

The Financial Crimes Investigations Technology team (FCI), part of CT, develops workflow and reporting solutions used by JPMC s investigations and operations teams to analyse, document, and report various forms of suspicious activity in the Fraud and BSA/AML domains. The FCI team is seeking a strong performance test engineer with the responsibilities listed below

  • Collate and analyze non-functional (Performance Testing) requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements and map to non-functional specifications.
  • Model technical requirements to evaluate performance impacts.
  • Prioritize tests based on business requirements.
  • Devise appropriate workload (transaction mix) model based on requirements.
  • Works with cross functional project teams to define performance metrics and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop suitable test strategy and plan based on requirements.
  • Provides input and insight to the software design and architecture process.
  • Development of scripts for latest web based technologies like web 2.0, Ajax etc. using performance testing tools like HP LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI etc.
  • Validates performance test environments and setup monitoring using tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Perfmon, NMON, Oracle AWR reports etc.
  • Execute both batch and online jobs performance testing.
  • Analyzes performance test results to pin-point potential bottlenecks.
  • Provide performance tuning recommendations especially around operating systems, Web/App and databases servers to resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Document Performance Testing Results and Review with the different application stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills
  • Performance Testing with LoadRunner 12/12.53 Experience - Advanced.
  • Performance Testing and Scripting with HP LoadRunner and JMeter Advanced.
  • Performance Metrics on UNIX, Windows, Oracle, Tomcat, IIS, WebLogic, WebSphere, Internet Technologies Advanced.
  • Complex Client/Server Architecture and Environments understanding - Advanced.
  • Hardware Capacity Planning Proficient.
  • Performance Monitoring Tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, JConsole, Fidler etc.) and their metrics analysis/tuning Advanced.
  • Analytical Skills Advanced.
  • Functional Automation Tool and application development knowledge (like Java, Perl, Selinum, Cucumber etc) desirable.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT Advanced.
Professional Skills
  • Communication (written and verbal) Advanced.
  • Co-ordination and good follow up Skills Advanced.
  • Results Documentation and Delivery Advanced.
  • Industry Acumen Proficient.

Education and Experience
  • Master/ Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Total 4-6 years of industry experience and minimum of 3 yrs Performance testing with LoadRunner with end-to-end project execution experience
  • Understanding of Financial and Banking applications or related business experience.
