Experience Level 4 to 6 years of experience JOB DESCRIPTION Comfortable in working under pressure of critical and demanding business environment Participate in Database development related tasks Understand functionality and participate in modification of existing code Optimization changes at DB level. Participate in database optimization and design. Establish best practices and suggest process improvements Responsible for owning database release/ deployment activities Co-ordinate with DEV/ QA team for day to day project related tasks Co-ordinate with DBA team for raising requests and getting it done EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor s degree (Master s degree preferred) in Computer Science Strong Knowledge of DBMS Concepts is a must Proficiency in general programming concepts SKILLS AND ABILITIES MANDATORY Experience of working on at least one major project delivery in capacity of Database development. Above average knowledge and experience in query tuning, query optimization, data modeling and index maintenance. Experience or know how about DB coding and design best practice. Hands-on with the Oracle analytical functions, advance SQL constructs and Data load tools and constructs. Ability and willingness to work on complex project. Understand and hands-on data structures and ability to solve Computer science algorithms. Knowledge/ experience of ETL concepts GOOD TO HAVE Performance Tuning Query/ PLSQL/ Database Level Strong experience in UNIX shell scripting Strong experience in database optimization and design Exposure to Data Migration related projects Exposure to other databases like PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB Exposure to Data Analytic Tool,
