Job Description

The Digital & Emerging Payments Operational Readiness & Planning Improvements Lead is focused on driving the delivery of an Always On customer experience, specifically addressing facets that could lead to a production outage.Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving strategic solutions across organizational boundaries to prevent customer impacting incidents caused by hygiene
  • Driving down the use of privileged access id s and ensuring they are properly controlled
  • Implement strategic solutions for accurate Inventory and Asset management
  • Remediating hygiene breaks and prevent reoccurrence
      • Drive PLM Auto Patch Auto Reboot (APAR) compliance
      • Partner with GTI, AD and production management to meet organizational objectives for hygiene compliance.
      • Drive down uptime, patch related, tool/Scan, TVM and other system breaks.
      • Drive compliance of privileged access id s managed through EPV
      • Ensure all id s in EPV are managed appropriately by the correct owners.
      • Ensure all certificates are proactively managed prior to expiration
  • Hands-on experience in strategic transformation, problem solving, process re-engineering and analytical initiatives are critical to the role.
  • Strong technical background application support experience is preferred.
  • Ability to establish strong partnership and influence across lines of business with the business, application teams, production support teams and external vendors (where applicable) is key.
Qualifications:
  • Requires a combination of technical background and business acumen.
  • Minimum 3 years of Application Development and/or Production Management work experience.
  • Experience with maintenance tools including PLM, Brews, RDMS, Venafi and the associated processes and procedures.
  • Understands Production Management roles, responsibilities, nomenclature around general maintenance, incident, problem and change management.
  • Highly collaborative Strong experience collaborating with and influencing cross functional teams on processes, procedures, culture, tools, etc. Strong partnership skills, builds relationships, understands how to find common ground to deliver on objectives
  • Change Agent (willing to challenge the status quo); strong drive for continuous improvement
  • Professional courage - takes on issues and challenges, calls it like s/he sees it
