  • Depending on your experience level and area of technical expertise you will participate in Validation of a variety of analog power systems while partnering with other Qualcomm engineering teams like Digital, RF and Mixed-Signal, Software and Customers in a fast-paced environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications 5-10 years relevant experience in PMIC post silicon Bench validation required.
  • Rigorous test plan review, planning, logistics, execution of deliverables, ownership of debug and customer enablement.
  • Developing test code on a Bench platform to generate programs that test/verify the functionality of very complex analog and mixed-signal power systems with concurrency scenarios using both local and phone level platforms. Work with common lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, JTAG debugger, frequency counters, etc.
  • Knowledge in power, mixed-signal, or analog PCB design and debug including CAD interface. Specific experience in high current monolithic DC-DC converters and switch mode battery chargers, low noise clocks, ADCs, PON and Reset hardware/firmware is preferred.
  • Strong lab skills are a required
  • Work with a team of engineers in complete validation of a PMIC from Pre-Silicon planning to Final commercialization preferred.
  • Applicants should have academic or industrial exposure in verifying full-custom power management circuits, systems and chipsets with multiple voltage domains in BiCMOS, bipolar, and CMOS technologies for medium to highly integrated applications.
