1. Provide a DU strategic operational review of integrated clinical development plans (IPDs/CDPs) summary; influences and guides in portfolio management for a small to mid-sized DU. Active engagement in operational strategy to manage portfolio risks with-in the assigned DU. 2. Provide operational support for strategic decision making, ensuring quality, compliance and timeliness of all DU deliverables. 3. Drive and chair cross-functional DU Portfolio Review via regular and ad hoc meetings. Through negotiation and influence, facilitates and aligns with cross-functional leaders in operational planning ahead of forthcoming key milestones. 4. Drives business efficiency, stays current, anticipate internal and external drivers, and opportunities to implement cross-functional strategies to maximize productivity and effi-ciency through use of global corporate standards, development and utilization of strate-gic alliances with external partners 5. Leads / participates cross-functional/cross-divisional strategic initiatives to drive the GDO/GDD organization s innovation and quality 6. Reviews risks/trends and associated assessments provided by GDO Portfolio Manage-ment and drives associated risk remediation plans are tracked and measured for as-signed Development Unit(s) to optimize operational delivery of the GDO portfolio of pro-jects. 7. Is responsible for applying standard, robust portfolio management techniques for man-aging GDO portfolio priorities. These may include creation of integrated project planning templates, risk management templates, as applicable Minimum requirements Bachelor degree in life science and/or bachelor degree in business with 7 5+ 10 years drug development or equivalent or, experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent English skills required (oral & written) 1. 108+ years industry experience, 75+ years multi / cross functional international leadership experience 2. Advanced understanding of the drug development process and programs with experience in clinical development and submission activities. 3. Proven portfolio delivery experience 4. Well-established track record for strong organiza-tional leadership. 5. Provide thought-leading insights to the competi-tive environment and internal partner interfaces 6. Model natural leadership characteristics in har-nessing and managing a diverse business,
