• MTech/BTech/MSc/BSc degree or equivalent experience

• 12 to 15 years of experience in the IT industry with at least 5 years in a Site Reliability (SRE) or Software Engineering environment with a focus on DevOps
• Experience as a SRE Lead for one or more applications/products
• Thorough understanding of the SRE Best Practices & passionate about SRE Culture & Mindset
• Good knowledge on SRE Telemetry & DevOps Toolchain
• Well versed with one or more application monitoring systems
• Good knowledge on Java or Python with experience in developing automation solutions
• Hands-on knowledge on one or more of Cloud providers & services (preferably, AWS)
• Prior experience of supporting a production application with skillful debugging and resolving defects capability
• Innovate and proactively look for ways to improve processes & procedures and identify/recommend new ideas for process improvement
• Strong observability experience: white & black box monitoring, SLO Alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, etc.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline experience with tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker, Terraform, or Concourse
• Highly proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, .Net, PowerShell, Flask, or ReactJS and development tools such as GIT & BitBucket
• CCNA or equivalent hands-on networking experience
• Strong server OS scripting and automation experience (Linux or Windows)
Soft Skills:
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Work collaboratively with software professionals & infrastructure teams
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
• Work with clients on requirements gathering
• Ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management and security policies.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software maintenance, improvements and upgrades
• Provide production support and issue resolution for production systems
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
• A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
• Demonstrate ability to know your customer including knowledge of the customers business
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
