As a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Preferred Knowledgeable in smart distribution and transmission control systems. At least 10 years of experience in Transmission and distribution automation processes and systems Should have strong understanding on Asset Management and Work Management Should have strong understanding on grid operational suites (ADMS, EMS, SCADA) Should be able to comprehend and design industry standard information exchange models like CIM (61970 & 61968). At least 5 years of experience in Outage Management System Processes including Fault detection, isolation and restoration At least 2 years of experience in designing DER Management system processes Should be able to develop business process and system use cases Should have strong understanding of Electric Grid Planning and Operation system landscape At least 8 years of experience in implementing and enhancing industry standard products for Asset, Work, Outage management and Distribution operations Should have excellent soft-skills and leadership skills to lead assessment workshops, and work with Enterprise architects to design roadmaps for next 5 years. Experience of at least 1 full-cycle implementation for a utility (Power) with hands on Functional and deployment experience Experience in utilities in North America Experience of leading development team, working with client teams/SMEs and leading them through the project life cycle. Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability. Ready to travel to client locations as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. At least 14 years of experience with Information Technology. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements. This position may require travel and/or relocation.,
