The platform architect will be responsible for driving the end-to-end platform architecture focusing on aspects like Developer Experience, Infrastructure as Code, Data management and Security aspects. The role will be involved in evangelizing, strategizing and defining the platform layer architecture, design and development. The ideal candidate will have a mindset of owning platform layer as a product offering.Key requirements for this role include:Detailed understanding of platform components like Infrastructure, Network and security aspects.Thorough understanding of the DevOps and pipeline implementations.Strong understanding of Infrastructure technologies On Prem and Cloud hosted.Experience with IaC technologies like Ansible and Terraform.Understanding of and working experience SaC (Security as Code)Strong working experience with at least one programming language Python, Go, Java, C, C.Understanding and working experience of Web protocols, Web Services and REST APIs.Development experience with Enterprise software products and SDLC lifecycle.3-tier Application Architecture understanding and design experience for at least one enterprise application end-to-end.Detailed understanding of cloud security and cloud infrastructure servicesThorough understanding of the SRE practices and working experience with at least one of the observability stacks (Monitoring, logging, Visualization).Key CompetenciesProven ability to drive change across a large organizationStrong collaboration and partnership focus across functionsStrong execution and implementation ability in a complex business environmentExemplary leadership skills to engage diverse teams to partner and work togetherProven ability to manage and deliver multiple complex projectsManagement through influenceEducation and Certifications4-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldMaster s degree preferredCloud related certificationsDesired Skills and Experience8-15 Years of experience in software design and development with at least 5 years of experience working in handling on-premise and cloud infrastructuresExtensive experience CI/CD pipeline alongside the Development team Strong experience on Continuous Integration/ Continuous Testing/ Continuous Delivery processes and toolsStrong programming experience with at least one of the languages Java, Python, Go, C, C.Experience working with at least one of the IAC tools such as Ansible, Terraform.Clear understanding of Config management tools.Strong understanding and working experience of at least one public cloud technology GCP preferred Experience with Big data stack and understanding of the technology.ITSM process knowledge, ITIL Certification will be added advantage,
