Job Description

  • You will be working on components within the OneDrive and SharePoint Online infrastructure, such as data store, capacity management, performance, authentication, networking and much more.
  • You will work on complex problems of instrumenting, analyzing and optimizing the cost of running the online service at ODSPs massive scale.
  • You will proactively seek anomalies in service operation and reliability turning these into insights and actions to scale the service to the next level.
  • You will push the cloud platform and the ecosystem around it to new levels of performance to delight our customers.
  • You will drive the technical strategy spanning across all the above areas and own key results.
  • You will be working in a collaborative environment with teams of engineers building a cool cloud service.
  • You will contribute to the incubation, growth and success of the entire team.
, You would be a good fit for our team if:
  • You are truly passionate about software engineering, with a strong emphasis on coding and design.
  • You can empathize with our end-users needs and help define their key experiences.
  • Ability to drive solutions to ambiguous, complicated problems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • 12+ years of industry programming, software development, and/or software engineering experience.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent.
  • Experience running and working on services at scale.
  • Experience in developing, debugging and maintaining code in object oriented languages.
  • Experience in database querying languages is a plus.
  • Exposure to Azure / AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus.
