Are you a developer with creativity and passion for securing the customer endpoints Do you have a drive to implement products, tools and services to detect malicious software that is actively trying to evade detection The Defender Security team is looking for you to build the cross-platform security solutions. We are creating an industry leading product to provide software protection, malware detection, and malware removal features for attack vectors on desktops and phones.Our client products and tightly integrated backend services need to be designed to protect hundreds of millions of customers in real time. The technologies consist of a wide variety of software encompassing kernel drivers, user mode system services, application and user interface level components, virtualization and emulation technologies, behavior detection, pattern matching, file format and network protocol parsers, exploit and intrusion prevention, reverse engineering systems, building distributed cloud services and much more.As cyberattacks become more sophisticated and targeted, we are creating a multi-disciplinary team of talented software engineers, cyber experts, security researchers, data scientists, UX designers and product managers.We are looking for fast learning, highly-motivated, creative and analytical software engineers. In this position you will work closely with other security engineering disciplines to plan, architect, design, implement and validate, security products and features. In addition to strong technical skills, you should have a passion for innovation and software quality. You will need to be comfortable with fast paced security industry by courageously treading the unexplored arenas and thinking ahead of the highly sophisticated attackers.As an Engineer Manager, you will be responsible in working closely with the peers, partners and building a diverse and inclusive team that is high performing teams., Bachelors, Masters, or PHD in computer science, engineering or equivalent10+ years of client side software development experience, preferably with C++3+ years of experience in managing and building teamsStrong problem solving skills, excellent coding and debugging skillsGood communication and cross group collaboration skillsAbility to work in an agile environment and quick learning capabilityThough not required, prior security or antimalware software expertise is a big plusExperience developing multi-threaded and high-performance code at the system level for popular client operating systems such as Windows, macOS and/or Linux.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
