Job Description

Principal/Tech Lead Signal Integrity EngineerAbout the Position:The desired candidate should be Self-driven, willing to work in a team. Should have strongcommunication and written skills. The candidate should have the ability to work with global teams. He/She would be working on end to end System level Signal and Power Integrity Simulation to include Die/Package/Boards for High Speed packages and end to end applications. Perform System Level SI across FPGA/Hardware for measuring datasheet parameters and provide SI related guidance to customers. Should be willing to work on High Speed Serdes and DDR applications and demonstrate good troubleshooting debug skills on key silicon and system level issues.Job RequirementsEssential Characteristics

  • BSEE/MS
  • 8-12 years relevant SIPI Experience
  • Strong knowledge on EMT and transmission line.
  • Signal Integrity Concepts- S-Parameters extraction, System level channel modelling, via modeling , Power Integrity (PDN) concepts including cap optimization, TDRs, analyzing stack-ups
  • Strong experience in Field Solvers Ansys HFSS, Siwave, Hyperlynx , HSPICE
  • Strong experience in in Simulation tools ADS, Hyperlynx
  • Strong experience in PCB/Package Tools Orcad, Allegro Cadence, Sigrity
  • Adept in working in a lab environment VNA, TDR, Sampling and real time Oscilloscope, BERTs, de-embedding techniques, jitter analysis.
  • IBIS-AMI Modeling, validation and correlation is a plus.
  • Good timing skills on DDR3/DDR4/LPDDR4 and End to End High Speed applications
  • High Speed Serdes Adept at troubleshoot and debugging channel issue for 12G-32G lanes on Cables, PCB, backplanes for jitter, channel loss, return loss
  • Perform package analysis and optimization is a plus
  • Provide SSO guidelines and simulations is a plus
