Job Description

    Our Client is a leading construction firm specializing in [insert specialization, e.g., residential, commercial, industrial] projects. With a track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, we are committed to excellence and innovation in the construction industry.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within the construction industry, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. The Senior Procurement Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services for our projects.Work Location : HyderabadResponsibilities:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support project objectives and timelines.
    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly.
    • Manage the procurement process from requisition to receipt of goods or services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules.
    • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns to maintain high levels of quality and service.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.
    • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, practices, and tools.
    • Demonstrated experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost analysis.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Certification in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
