Job Responsibilities: Purpose of Role: raquoResponsible for delivery of tech initiativesraquoResponsible for build and maintain cross functional infrastructure modules pertaining to gaming domainraquoCompiling, propagating and enforcing best practices and standards in software develop across teamsKey Relationships: raquoDevelop innovative software using cutting- edge technologies, with an emphasis on reusability and test drive ness.raquoIdentifying the pain areas in the system and addressing them by applying architectural patternraquoDefine Road map and strategy for tech initiativesraquoMentor/ Coach other team members and bringing new learning to the teamraquoDeliver medium to larger size tech initiative using pre- determined methods to the agreed standard of qualityraquoAbility to work closely with other cross- functional teams and Silo teamsCompetencies and Ace behaviours: raquoTechnically strong in Core java and Advanced Java concepts like Multithreading, TCP/ IP Sockets, RMI, JMS, OSGI, JDBC, Oracle, Unix/ Solaris.raquoGood Knowledge in Architectural and Design patternsraquoCapable of working in next generation server technologies and toolsraquoGood design skills and problem solving capabilities and Good exposure to System ArchitectureraquoCapable delivering projects end to end with a team size of 2- 8 or as an independent contributor if need beraquoExperience in product development with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event Driven Architecture (EDA) is an added advantageraquoStrong RDBMS knowledge or hands on experience. Preferably on ORACLE.raquoSound conceptual understanding, ability to recognize and apply design patterns is a must.raquoKnowledge / hands on experience of UML, AOP, Web Services, SOA is a definite plus.raquoKnowledge of Linux and / or Solaris is a plus.Key stakeholders: : raquoWorks closely with cross functional teams and silo teamsraquoWorks closely with Architecture teams to ensure good design principles are followed in the projectsraquoWorks closely with PMOQualifications, Experience and Knowledge: raquo9 years of programming experience in Java & OracleraquoShould have experience in handling team.raquoStrong problem- solving skills and analytical skills.raquoGood written and verbal communication skills.raquoAbility to manage multiple tasks under pressure with tight deadlines.raquoExperience in requirement gathering, dependency analysis, effort estimation, project planning is preferred.raquoExperience working with geographically diverse teams is an added advantage.raquoBachelors / Masters Degree in technically minded disciplines.,
