Product Marketing SpecialistPosting Location : Location Remote US CAPosting date 2 days ago(3/15/2021 11:34 AM)Job ID 85602 Category Corporate Marketing Job summary The Red Hat OpenShift Product Marketing team is looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to join us. In this role, you will help define, position, and guide the strategy for Red Hat OpenShift, as well as all outbound product marketing activities. You ll create successful customer stories and use cases to help the global Field Sales team achieve success. You will also establish clear understanding of target customers, business drivers, and selling motions to your sales channels, as well as design innovative marketing programs to guide customer and channel demand. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business. Primary job responsibilities

  • Cooperate with other marketing teams to better understand the types of content to be created and delivered
  • Identify and design content and campaigns for internal and external audiences
  • Ensure marketing plans align with market directions and support the product roadmap and releases
  • Act as an evangelist internally and externally to guide the overall success of the service
  • Participate in technical aspects of go-to-market engagements like roadshows, workshops, webinars, product and solutions demos, and industry and partner events
  • Guide company and partner readiness activities related to sales, partner, and marketing functions
Required skills
  • Some product marketing experience, preferably within a software industry
  • Bachelors degree
  • Critical thinking skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions
  • Ability to translate technology features into customer benefits
  • Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills; experience presenting to medium to large audiences
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a startup-like environment
  • Understanding of the common technical jargon of the IT infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and the system management space
  • Willingness to travel
