This includes working with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, cloud architects, and business stakeholders, to define, prioritise, and execute product features and enhancements.What youll do Develop and operate highly resilient and compliant Data Platforms above mandatory obligation requirements, whilst ensuring technology capability meets the current and future needs of the business. Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the data platforms. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies. Quantify and communicate the value that Data Platforms is delivering back to the business, and ensure it resonates with different stakeholder groups. Work with key business stakeholders to identify and define Platform components needed to achieve T25. Gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users to inform product improvements. Work closely with data engineers, cloud architects, and other teams to ensure the successful delivery of product features. Identify or anticipate any risk to the program and formulate mitigation plans. Lead programs of work with an Agile mindset. Engagement with senior stakeholders and business unit leaders. Ensure team is constantly enabled and remove blockers efficiently. Forecasting and seeking resources through quarterly planning processes.What you need to succeed Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, specifically in data platforms. Communicating effectively across non-technical and technical teams both written and verbal. Experience of driving Enterprise Data Platform ecosystem spanning architecture, capability, and operation. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing, datalakes, lakehouses). Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with data engineering concepts, including ELT, ETL, Spark processes and data pipelines. Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery). Experience with ML Platforms ecosystem comprising of ML Development, prototype, deployment, validation and MLOps. Experience with operating a data platform. Delivery of analytics projects within large enterprises. This includes experience across business cases, POCs, design, build and operate phases. Working with developers, data engineers and data scientist in a cross functional team. Nurturing, developing, and motivating skilled resources to create and maintain a high performing team.
