Department Name: CTS Product Development PROCESS BRIEF The purpose of FactSet Content and Technology Solutions (CTS) is to capture substantial revenue opportunities that exist within the Financial Data Feed market and help drive the adoption of FactSets proprietary content through FactSets data feed business.The CTS Product Development team was established in Hyderabad to support CTS Product Managers distributed around the world. The group is responsible for Product Feature support, Contribution to Product Design, Critical Product Analysis and Product Documentation and Education.The team serves as a resource providing a full range of benefits to the development of CTS products. This is an extremely attractive opportunity for candidates wishing to join a successful team within the department representing the most rapidly expanding portion of FactSet s business.This opportunity will allow candidates to learn about FactSet s Global business, work with a wide range of technologies as well as to shape the future of FactSet s dynamic array of CTS products.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES CTS PD - Product Specialist/ Associate Product Specialist will work on a variety of projects related to CTS products and FactSet s data feed business. This is an individual contributor role within the Content and Technology Solutions Product Development team. It includes the following responsibilities:Product Feature Support Manage the group s daily inflow of CTS product requests and guide them to a meaningful and timely resolution Communicate clear and detailed responses to requests while tying in references to supporting documentation Contribution to Product Design and Maintenance Assist product owners in spec ing and designing data feed products that capture market share in the financial data investments space Contribute to departmental product development projects Critical Product Analysis Identify recurring issues/ requests and make recommendations for feature enhancements Collection of metrics for product usage, issues reported, time to first response, time to resolution, etc. Identify areas for improvement of Product Support Product Documentation and Education Create and maintain support and troubleshooting documentation Integrate CTS skillsets into official training curricula Regularly share CTS product best practices with stakeholders JOB REQUIREMENTS We welcome ambitious team players with proven ability to take initiative and find creative solutions. Applicants must have genuine interest in finance and technology, as well as the desire to continually learn and develop in an ever-changing environment.Education : Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/ or FinanceExperience : 2-4 years, 3-5 years & 4-6 years of relevant work experience for Associate Product Specialist, Product Specialist & Product Specialist II respectivelyRequired Skills : Professional experience and competency in three or more of the following: Unix-Linux FTP / SFTP / HTTP transfers log design, reading and troubleshooting Technical QA methodology Streaming data services Programmatic APIs SQL and other RDBMS platforms NoSQL platforms MATLAB / R / SAS Markup languages: XML, JSON, etc. Procedural programming in: Python, Perl, or Ruby Specification writing / technical documentation Functional understanding of Enterprise Data Delivery solutions Functional understanding of Software Development cycles Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & Power Point) Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Highly Desired Attributes: Knowledge of financial databases used in financial markets Technical specification writing or maintenance experience of tools, enhancements, products Proven track record of guiding large projects to success Knowledge or experience with analytical software from FactSet, CapIQ, Thomson Reuters or Bloomberg,
