Job Description

Description :

The Production Support engineer will be responsible for monitoring and alerting and ensuring the uptime of our systems, along with log monitoring to establish accurate metrics in reporting exceptions and errors in our systems to identify issues before they become a customer SEV1.

Skills and Abilities :

  • Troubleshooting issues in real -time and fast response times to client facing managers to provide up -to -the -minute details on issues as they are found.
  • Experience working with Graphite/Grafana infrastructure and how to scale these technologies for metric/numeric based monitoring and alerting.
  • Ability to manage network architectures and firewalls.
  • Experience working with the ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack, Splunk, GrayLog, or any other log management solution.
  • Java8, Tomcat7, Tomcat8, Spring, Maven, Jenkins. Familiarity with snort, Nessus, iptables, encryption technologies and other security related applications are a major plus

Prerequisites :

  • 4+ years experience working with production systems.
  • BTech/MCA or any Graduate with Technical Skills.
  • Agile experience. Certificates from scrum.org or other equivalent are a major plus!
  • Pass any pre -employment tests, drug tests, and background checks
