Program Manager 2, Analytics & ML

Job Description

As a member of the GSS DAS team at Uber, you will drive the analysis behind various Product and Ops related decisions. You will be involved in leading multiple data-driven projects, including strategic & technical program management, designing KPI tracking systems, performing analytical deep dives, developing machine learning solutions, and building scalable automation tools using Python & AI.- Utilize expertise in data analysis and visualization to develop end-to-end analytical solutions- Translate analytical solutions into actionable insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences- Maintain and improve the quality and efficiency of analytical solution delivery- Lead vendor data analysts in project execution- Drive and deliver multiple analytical and data engineering projects to partner teams- Decipher large data sets to answer core data questions- Design ML-based project plans and strategies- Develop intelligent data products such as chatbots and recommendation systems- Apply pre-trained models to business use cases- Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial- Humble and scrappy attitude, willing to take on tactical work when neededBasic Qualifications:- Minimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, or similar role- Proficiency in SQL in a production environment- Experience using Python or R to work with large data sets and apply ML/DL/AI capabilities- Proficiency in dashboarding and data visualization tools- Strong communication skills for sharing data insights with peers- Team player with multitasking abilities- Experience working with remote teams and across time zonesPreferred Qualifications:- BS / MS degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative fields- Experience in experimental design, data modeling, and statistical analysis- Project management experience in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment- Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teamsUbers mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
