In this context Amazon is looking for an experienced Program Manager who will be co-located with our operations, business and development teams, work on Seller expansion programs, work with business and stakeholders to improve processes, and drive business critical programs.Key objectives of this function are to:* Manage and drive strategic programs to successful completion.* Improve the efficiency of processes and raise service standards.* Simplify tasks and processes by suggesting alternative procedures and building light-weight automations for the operations.* Write SQL queries and create metric decks based on the requirement.* Perform deep dives on data and process to solve issues.* Communicate with internal stakeholders to bring alignment in expectations and drive business goals.In this role you will:* Develop light-weight automations to improve efficiency and quality of existing operational procedures.* Write complex SQL queries to fetch data for deep-dives and to establish business metrics.* Drive continuous Process excellence, create dashboards, author business review documents to be presented to stake holders.* Define key metrics that measures effectiveness of support.* Provide operational guidance, review implementation progress, resolve issues and drive the team towards goals., Basic QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Math, or related discipline.* 3+ years of relevant work experience in an Operations / Project Management role.* Advanced SQL skills, advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel is a must.* Experience in scripting languages such a Python / VBA.* Excellent analytical, problem solving and logical reasoning skills.* Ability to handle complex and ambiguous scenarios.* Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work assignments.* Ability to manage conflicting priorities - capability to work on several projects in parallel. Preferred Qualifications* Proven track record of resolving customer problems and arriving at scalable solutions.* Strong time-management skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.* Comfortable in rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis and reach strong conclusions.
