We are looking for an exceptional inventor and problem solver who has a mind for business management and performance measurement, who can create and manage within our global business performance mechanisms for background check screenings. The successful candidate will review current state disparate practices, develop globally-consistent health measures, and run quality improvement projects - eliminating defects and improving efficiency and costs.You will interact with fast-moving customers, and your challenge will be to design and deliver an optimized and flexible shared service (consisting of vendors and operations) that responds quickly to diverse and quickly changing needs but remains accurate and compliant. You will require data-driven judgment, and be able to earn trust with your customers. Core responsibilities include: Leadership Lead cross functional initiatives, programs and services; work to understand the space and develop a plan to implement solutions; drive alignment between stakeholders through strong leadership Innovation Explore new and existing spaces to understand current state, and identify creative solutions to shift the way we think about our programs and services Deliver Solutions - Design and implement new or modified processes to meet short-term and long-term needs related to Screening programs; build on past experience with successful project delivery, particularly in deploying global services and technologies at scale Communication - Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and senior business leaders, both verbally and in writing Measurement - Develop measures to define progress and ultimate success; establish ongoing reporting requirements and key performance indicators for planning and ultimately realizing intended ROIsKey job responsibilitiesJoin Amazon s People eXperience and Technology (PXT) team and help make a difference for all Amazonians! Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business problems and solutions to senior leaders. Leadership in issue resolution in a deadline driven environment. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionality with business and technical teams. Established record of project delivery as lead analyst or project manager. Comfort/experience communicating and influencing across job levels with both internal and external partners.
