Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities Responsibilities The Delivery Office aims to support our business to deliver first class operational excellence in everything that we do; transitioning, running and growing our engagements. This role of Delivery Project Manager will sit within the Delivery arm of the Delivery Office.This individual will be responsible for supporting new engagements coming into our Operational Service Towers, ensuring they transition effectively; establishing & managing the project plan to move the service from our clients into our Service Towers in a timely and safe way ensuring that the handover to the Operational Delivery Teams takes place in a controlled manner and smoothing the transition into business as usual delivery.You will work closely with your key stakeholders of Client leads, Operational Delivery Directors, Operational Engagement Managers, our technology, commercial and internal enablement teams to ensure that all applicable workstreams are sufficiently resourced, managed and controlled to deliver within the agreed timescales and to drive the operational excellence quality standards we expect within our operational delivery engagements.You will establish project level governance and reporting ensuring that all actions, risks and issues are sufficiently documented and progressed but also understood by all the stakeholders. You will work to minimise any delivery risk when the service moves into BAU operational service. You will liaise regularly with the Senior Programme Manager for your Cluster ensuring that you are providing a timely concise overview of how the transition project is going ensuring escalations are made in a timely way when required.This is someone who has experience of running projects to transition across operational delivery into live service and can drive high quality, on budget solutions to ensure operational excellence & quality within our operational deliveries. Key Responsibilities You will be a strong planner, influencer and have a proven track record in project management and delivery. You will bring high energy, thrive on building relationships and continually seek to improve the service offered to clients. If you are able to demonstrate some of the following we want to hear from you:
    • 3 years plus in programme / project management experience
    • Accountable for leading the project(s), driving towards the established goals.
    • Working with the wider project team to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
    • Work in partnership with a nominated Service Tower to support their engagements, understanding proposed deliverables and commercials, establishing the project plan to drive a safe mobilisation and transition into live service and BAU and ensuring the engagement is set up to meet the client requirements in terms of required scope, stated SLA s and KPI s, resource profile and budget, timelines and ensuring risks and issues are appropriately tracked and escalated when required.
    • Producing regular project delivery reports at a Service Tower level
    • Running all project meetings to ensure actions are progressed and any issues/risks/dependencies are tracked to ensure appropriate mitigation is in place and progress to the plan
    • Provide estimates for resources required to support full mobilisation and transition of an engagement as part of our bid/RFP process. Working in partnership with the Service Tower operational teams as well as within our lines of service
    • Track the budget for the transition and reporting on actuals v s forecast in terms of mobilisation activities
    • Championing the use of the quality frameworks to drive programme excellence through mobilisation and operational excellence through Delivery
    • Drive standardisation in our solutions to support high quality, efficient outcomes
    • Develop robust and trusting relationships within our business, across all lines of service and our external client base
