Job Description

OverallDrive quality upfront

  • Anticipate and uncover development and technical risk on complex deals; Facilitate quicker resolution of development and technical challenges
  • Proactively facilitate smooth transition between Domain and EAS teams
  • Provide early warnings upfront/ Preventing escalation scenarios
  • Actively engage in advisory/assistance capacity in troubled projects
  • Monitor Methodology/Best Practice Adherence and Recommend Corrective Action
  • Monitoring the project teams for adherence to agreed Execution Methodology
Monitor/Drive Best practice adoption (Playbook, PSF, QGs, DevOps, ISO20K, CMMi)
  • Monitoring the project teams for adherence to agreed Execution Methodology
  • Monitor/Drive Best practice adoption (Playbook, PSF, QGs, DevOps, ISO20K, CMMi)
Provide Deeper Insights
  • Provide proactive insights to Domain leadership encompassing the following, but not limited to the below mentioned and partnering with Domain stakeholders on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identification of Development PjM blind spots
  • Identify & report common causes of failure and providing Early Warnings
Create the right visibility on items impacting IGD Delivery working closely with TZ SQA Leads
  • Facilitating quicker resolution of dependencies from TZ impacting IGD Delivery and creating the right visibility at appropriate levels
  • Any issues related to Schedule, Financials, Customer/Internal stakeholder Expectation management impacting IGD component of delivery
  • Discrepancies around IGD estimates/scope during Sales to Delivery handover
  • Any unrealistic expectations set with customer on IGD scope of work
Business Management
  • Track and report key business metrics related to delivery
People Leadership & Management
  • Act as a role model for values, ethics, professional conduct and belief in the Microsoft culture
  • Drive the culture of learning, best practice sharing, First time right, quality mindset and customer obsession across delivery communities

  • Develop strategic, ongoing internal and external customer and subcontractor relationships, gaining trust and respect for the company

, Key Success Criteria and Competencies required
  • 10+ years managing systems implementation, IT transformation and IT initiatives in a large multi-national organization or a leading Technology Services company with managerial experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of and experience in quality assurance, practice maturity, delivery excellence, data analysis and development of business insights
  • Ability to lead the transformation and drive a large-scale change within our Enterprise Services Business
  • Articulate compelling vision, develop followership systems thinking
  • Positive disruptor that can view opportunities vs barriers
  • Building and leading strong organization capability/ and a robust management team
  • Influencing stakeholders to achieve impact through collaboration, presence and strong communication skills
