Project ManagerLocation Remote Czech RepublicPosting date 1 day ago(5/31/2021 10:49 AM)Job ID 86782 Category Consulting, Project Management Job summary Red Hats Services team is looking for a Project Manager specialized in quality, risk and customer experience management to join us in the Czech Republic. In this role, you will be required to complete the initial triage for risk management reviews and approvals for the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region and financial analytics and you ll be responsible for the overall project delivery quality in the region. Youll also serve as the first point of contact for project escalations. Moreover, you will be required to have a good understanding of the industry-standard project management practices. As a Project Manager, you ll need to be able to navigate complex information technology (IT) projects and you will manage technical, tactical, and business transformation projects. Primary job responsibilities

  • Lead and support project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for technical, tactical, and business transformation projects
  • Manage and support project requirements, scope, and change management issues
  • Determine, monitor, and review all project economics, including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risks
  • Work with management to develop project proposals, charters, estimates, and schedules
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to projects that they manage
  • Establish and support appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria; develop detailed communications and reporting procedures for projects
  • Manage and support project change using repeatable methodologies and clear communication with project stakeholders from all levels of the organization
  • Undertake status review meetings among project team members and stakeholders
  • Integrate and use specific industry and company-standard project management and technical delivery methodologies like agile, scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), etc.
  • Assist in the training of the project team on the application of appropriate procedures and advise team members on how to accomplish project goals to meet established schedules and resolve technical and operational issues
Required skills
  • Prior experience with project management in a related field
  • Knowledge of and practical experience with the complete project engagement life cycle, preferably in consulting, from opportunity identi cation to delivery
  • Ability to analyze and determine technical risks within the consulting business
  • Advanced project management experience; certification is a plus
  • Understanding of basic business financials and metrics
  • Ability to review and mentor project team performance
  • Record of successfully managing high-complexity programs in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience establishing and contributing to process improvements
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; solid interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively across a widely diverse management team, as well as a broad spectrum of internal partners
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
  • Ability to articulate the program and project management value proposition and serve as an evangelist for the project management techniques and project management methodologies
  • Experience with IT support management methodologies and techniques is a plus
