Job Description

  • Preparation of the project Plans, approval processes and project schedules.
  • Understand project plans, specifications and prepare buildings design, scheduling.
  • Assess possible cost saving measures and potential construction issues.
  • Develop team abilities and communicate the project objectives and quality standards as well as effectively lead cross functional teams.
  • Expedite finalisation of drawings and approvals for implantation of schedules.
  • Monitor and maintain construction schedules on daily / weekly basis.
  • Discuss relevant project related issues during site meetings and find out solutions for smooth execution of work process.
  • Conduct periodic site meetings, prepare and circulate minutes to all the concerned.
  • Monitor site safety and ensure that all the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety aspects are enforced.
  • Track all independent testing and inspections as required and maintained.
  • Maintain and enforce best construction standards and quality controls.
  • Monitor labour, material and equipment expenses in line with construction progress.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly cost forecasting summaries and compare with actual figures.
  • Maintain and ensure strong filing, documentation process for all the a) Planning, b) Budgeting, c) Material indents, usage and costing d) Meetings, e) Quality checks and corrections, f) Project / people safety measures and records for future references.
  • Ensure all required legal inspections are carried out with the help of other stake holders.
  • Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists and take time corrective measures.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policies and contract / agreement specifications.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations and bring it to the Management notice for quick solutions.
  • Represent company in CREDAI and other professional bodies and attend strategic meetings.
