Job Description

Job Title: R&D Engineer III - MechanicalJob Location: Hyderabad, IndiaPurpose :

  • Mechanical engineering product design & development of components/ subsystem or complete product for Growth Protection and Separation (GPS) productline
  • Product Development as per the with Business specific R&D New product development life cycle
  • Strive for independent execution of projects from India Engineering Center
  • Meet or exceed delivery expectations with respect to quality and schedule commitment
Candidate Requirement:
  • Education: Master or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 8+years overall experience with minimum 6+ years of strong technical experience in full life cycle Product design & development. At least 2-3 programs life cycle hands on experience from requirements to product launch.
  • Strong Mechanical product engineering capability with exposure to VoC to Specification, DFMEA, PFMEA, Risk analysis, DFX (design for Manufacturability, asm, service, reliability, ease of use etc), Design for Reliability etc,
  • Experience in manufacturing process not limiting to Sheet metal, Fabrication, Plastics, forging, etc.
  • Hands of experience with Geometric tolerance and tolerance stake up analysis.
  • Hands of experience/ exposure with different tools & strives to prove design/concept selection, robustness through proper usage of tools (Pugh matrix, Analytical calculations, CAE analysis, Proof of Concepts / prototype, etc).
  • Experience on design verification at part or subsystem or system level . Experience with developing and executing validation plan as a part of product development lifecycle.
  • Exposure to CAD engineering, CAD assembly (with Solid works cad background).
  • Technical drawing creation, review and release process.
  • Systems Engineering awareness on multi discipline teams (HW/FW/GUI/ Mechanical) interfacing for integrated product development
  • Ability to review, action planning with test/build data, failures analysis and engineering decisions or recommendations. Worked on 5 whys, RCAs to help understand failure.
  • Awareness on regulatory requirements, certification and engineering standards
