• Data management using advanced Excel and data cleaning techniques
• Performing the life data analysis and predicting the failures.
• Prediction of future risks using simulation models.
• Develop reliability predictions using approved prediction methodologies for mechanical equipment.
• Support design reviews and test activities as required
• Perform Failure Mode and Effects and critical Analysis (FMECA)
• Identify Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions.
• Provide status on FRACAS activities as a part of monthly program meetings as well as present to customer.
• Maintain the customer and organization data security guidelines.
SKILLS / COMPETENCE: The Reliability Engineer will need to possess the following set of skills:
• A good team player, people leader who can work well under pressure or in stressful and demanding situations or environments.
• A well-organized, neat, and punctual individual who pays close attention to detail.
• Well aware of Aircraft /Aero Engine construction & functional details and maintenance procedures and practices.
• Experience with the key reliability processes including Design for Reliability, reliability block diagrams and FMEA .
• Proficient with Root Cause Analysis Techniques.
• Experience in calculating the reliability metrics like MTBF, MTBR or MTTR etc.
• Experience in representing the data trends using the Power BI/Tableau etc.
• Ability to train, mentor and control the new joiners to the team.
Desired:
• Certified Reliability Engineer certification is preferred
Update E-Data for D&Cs, engine removals or BSI/Asset attributes as required on daily basis. - Update fleet utilization data on monthly basis from the reports received from the customer. - Monitor daily status and report on Engine/Component Removals, Work Stoppages, IFSD s & Surge Events, AOG situations, LRUs Management, spare engines and parts availability. - Attend daily morning meetings and support the FSRs in the regions. - Work independently under minimum guidance at client location. - Systematic data mining from various data sources and will be responsible for importing, transforming, validating the field returns data and present data in reports, charts, graphs and tables and excel spreadsheets. - Determine project scope, deliverables, and schedule project deliverables with in defined time line. - Interpret the customer s needs and respond swiftly to the requirementsSkills & ExperienceAero Engine, Aftermarket, Reliability EngineeringCyient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Cyient recruits, employs, trains, compensates, and promotes regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, veteran status, and other protected status as required by applicable law.
