Job Description

We are looking for a Android Developer with good Android skills who can be part of a talented software team and who should be able to

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Lead, train and mentor junior team members.
  • Suggest architectural improvements for various projects.
  • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
  • Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle.
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
  • Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch and voice.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Suggest various product improvement inputs to the client via the management.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience into Android App Development.
  • Hands on experience in designing and developing Android applications.
  • Proficient in Object Oriented Java and Knowledge of RxJava or Kotlin.
  • Object Oriented analysis and Knowledge of Design Patterns.
  • Knowledge on working with remote data via REST, JSON and SOAP Web services.
  • Knowledge on Android architecture components.
  • Knowledge of various libraries used in Android (e.g. Volley, Retrofit, Picasso, Dagger, etc.)
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Android Architecture Components.
  • Knowledge on source code management tools (eg: Git, svn)
  • Exposure to scrum or other agile methodologies.
  • Must be self-directed, confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have at least 2-3 apps published on the Play Store.
  • Working experience in Java Server Side development is an added advantage.
  • Willing to learn more technologies based on requirement
