Besides the roles and responsibilities of Resource Person,RPs have to shoulder some of the other important responsibilities for implementing the activities of IE component, to bring about quality education to CWSN. The specific responsibilities can be-: 1. Organize training programme, develop training modules, training calendar. In BRC 10 days training , can prepare modules for IE component, conduct Academic Package training for ARP,AARP & Teachers. 2. Curriculum Adaptation and modification of the textbooks as per need of the cwsn, by themselves or in collaboration with DIET and SCERT.3. Helping ARP,AARP and Teacher in their various works. 4. They should ensure that Individual Education Plan(IEP) for all CWSN is made and education is being given according to IEP. 5. Supervision of STLM prepared by Volunteers and Resource Teachers and suggestions to them regarding preparation of STLM as low cost, durable, with materials available locally, with new concept for every subjects and topics and others as deemed necessary. 6. Organizing Games and Sports in Blocks at various occasions. 7. Convergence with other organizations for various activities. Apart from the above mentioned general and specific responsibilities of Resource Persons in Blocks, any other roles and responsibilities specific to the districts which DPOs think can be given to them may be included. ,
