The company is committed to providing exceptional service and a memorable experience for guests of all ages.Role DescriptionAs the Restaurant Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the restaurants inventory, ensuring the availability of high-quality ingredients, and supporting the smooth functioning of the kitchen and dining areas. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic restaurant environment.Inventory Management:Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality of products.Maintain organized and efficient storage of all food, beverage, and kitchen supplies.Regularly conduct physical inventory counts to track stock levels and prevent. shortages.Ordering and Replenishment:Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to determine inventory needs and order supplies accordingly.Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including pricing and delivery schedules.Monitor stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.Quality Control:Ensure that all products received meet the restaurants quality standards.Implement and maintain proper storage and handling procedures for perishable and non-perishable items.Rotate stock and manage expiration dates to minimize waste.Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.Generate reports on inventory turnover, stock levels, and any discrepancies.Communicate effectively with management regarding stock-related issues or recommendations.Collaboration:Work closely with the kitchen team to understand menu requirements and adjust ordering accordingly.Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any delivery or product quality issues.Communicate regularly with the management team to ensure alignment on inventory needs and budget adherence.Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of food and supplies.Participate in regular safety training and implement best practices within the storekeeping areaQualificationsBachelors degree or related field ,Previous experience as a storekeeper, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Familiarity with food safety regulations.Experience in the food and beverage industry and proficiency in MS Office, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management software are desirable,
