Amazon Kindle Content is seeking a Risk Management and Prevention (RMP) Program Manager to manage Emerging Issues (EI) and internal Correction of Errors (COE) documents for the Kindle Direct Publishing and Kindle Enterprise Publishing businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to help resolve broad-scale, risky, and highly visible issues that impact authors and publishers.Kindle Content Risk PM s are highly motivated and work autonomously with a capability to manage multiple, large-scale issues effectively. They use excellent verbal and written skills to strategize and drive solutions with internal stakeholders that fix and improve the author experience. The environment is fast-paced, ambiguous, and challenging with priorities that are constantly changing.Position Responsibilities Execute tasks as part of the EI and COE programs. Lead war-room calls to triage high-risk issues quickly with internal stakeholders. Partner with internal stakeholders to drive root cause analysis on broad-scale and high-risk issues. Strategize and drive solutions with internal stakeholders to fix and/or improve the publisher experience. Capture requirements from various stakeholders on all fixes and feature changes. Monitor execution of fixes and feature changes to ensure the delivery is in line with the expected outcome and target date. Communicate clearly, concisely, and consistently (verbal and written) with all stakeholders. Partner with Legal, PR, and CRM Operations leaders to develop operational processes, policies and frontline blurbs related to EIs and COEs, 3+ years experience in program or project management Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements 3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams 3+ years experience in KDP Experience handling escalations on Risk Management & Prevention team Fluent in English Excellent verbal and written communication skills comfortable working with senior management and able to present complex issues in a concise way. Experience drafting email responses and documents to senior leaders. A strong drive for results and the ability to work in ambiguous situations and loosely structured environments. Attention to detail, ability to investigate and find root causes of issues. Ability to multi-task and make tough decisions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to accomplish goals. Experience using Salesforce, Remedy, CSC, Tableau, SIM and Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills.
