Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities Construction Specialties is looking for an experienced candidate who will play an integral role in developing and maintaining our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application built on the salesforce.com platform.Desired Candidate Profile Key Areas of Responsibilities:
    • Design, prototype, build, document and support solutions for the Salesforce.com CRM to meet business needs, including configurations, customizations and integrations.
    • Develop new and maintain existing Apex classes, triggers, Lightning components and VisualForce pages.
    • Develop and adhere to best practices for coding, documentation and deployment of code to production.
    • Contribute to the migration of Salesforce classic features to Lightning experience, using Lightning Design System with Visualforce pages, Lightning Component development and other necessary UI technologies.
    • Work with team on the development and maintenance of system integrations involving Salesforce and applications that integrate with Salesforce, including CPQ, ERP and other external vendor systems.
    • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for design specifications, root cause analysis, change management and peer reviews.
    • Provide great customer service to users across the organization in response to production environment issues and support requests
    • Utilize good troubleshooting skills and conduct root cause analysis
    • Participate in software development using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    • Review and keep informed of new features made available with each Salesforce release and how they will impact the CS org.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor s degree in Computer or engineering discipline and/or related field or equivalent experience
    • 4+ years of industry experience developing applications on the Force.com platform, using APEX, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, SOQL and Lightning, and using tools such as Dataloader.
    • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System with Visualforce pages, Lightning Component framework and other necessary UI technologies.
    • Demonstrated experience building integrations with Salesforce.com using REST/SOAP API s.
    • Understanding and demonstrated knowledge of best practices for code development and deployment.
    • Strong communications skills - able to communicate with technical/ non-technical people.
    • Familiarity with development in an Agile framework is a plus.
    Technical Certifications:
    • Certified Force.com Developer (DEV-401) or equivalent experience.
    • Certified Salesforce.com Administrator (ADM-201) or equivalent experience is preferred
    Soft Skills:
    • Motivated and Self-Driven.
    • Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Good technical documentation skills.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
