Job Description

SAN StorageApply nowPublish Date: Mar 19, 2021Location: Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, INCompany: AtosJob DescriptionResponsibilities / Technical skills:Provide SAN service operation support for client on day to day basis. Maintain clients SAN with 100% compliance with customer SLA s. Participate in daily operation, escalation calls for any issues with client environment. Participate in internal & external service review calls. Assist in setting standards for system design, use and services. Handle implementation/configuration/management of storage environment. Participate in Disaster recovery & drills on the storage platform. Should be able to handle data migration requests. Generate weekly/monthly reports Capacity report, Management KPI reports, and Utilizations reports. Should be willing to work in rotating shifts (24*7) & on call responsibilities. A solid understanding of SAN administration; for example, design and configuration of new SAN environments, installation and configuration of disk management applications, installation and configuration of HBA drivers and any related third-party software. Ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies.Technical skills:

  • Storage administration experience in one or more SAN enterprise/midrange technologies.
  • Work experience with EMC products
    • VMAX/DMX/Xtreme IO
    • VPLEX, VNX/Clarion
    • Islion, Centera, Celerra
    • Replication BCV/Clone, SRDF/Recovery Point Appliance , Thin Provisioning, Performance Manager, Unisphere
  • Experience in FC & ISCSI environment.
  • Experience in creation of LUNs & mapping to host, LUN/Server decommission,Meta Device creation/addition & removal, Virtual provisioning & Tiering, local & remote replication for Backup/DR
  • Experience NAS CIFS & NFS protocols, creation of CIFS/NFS file system and exporting to host, troubleshoot CIFS & NFS permission issues.
  • Managing the reports using Unisphere.
  • Experience in Fabric - Enterprise and Departmental Switches on Brocade/Cisco. Should able to do perform health checks, zoning, troubleshooting fabric related issues, handle upgrades.
  • A solid understanding of an operating system (Linux/Unix/Windows/ESX).
Communication skills:
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English
  • Capable of writing proposals or papers, making presentations to customer professional peers, and working closely with team.
Working Experience:
  • Minimum eight years of relevant hands on experience on above mentioned SAN storage technology and interested to work on operations job.
  • Knowledge of ITIL / ISO Process is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Service Management tools Remedy/Service Now is added advantages
