You will join our SAP migration team focused on AWS s SAP customers. This role will need to collaborate with partner and customer teams to deliver proof-of-concept projects, perform SAP migration, S4 conversion and implementation projects.We are looking for someone who is passionate about:- Perform OS/DB migration using SUM/DMO, SWPM, and other applicable tools- Architecting SAP solutions for simplicity, massive scale, resiliency and maintainability, such as HSR, Data Guard, etc.- Working on the cutting edge of a wide range of innovative AWS use cases- Setting-up and configuring SAP based on best practices- Automating SAP deployment, configuration and operationsRESPONSIBILITIES: Perform hardware sizing assessments and make recommendations per SAP best practices Install, Upgrade and Patch SAP instances; client strategy in accordance with SAP best practices Develop and implement backup, patch, note, and migration strategies Develop, document, execute and test SAP System IQ/OQ standards and procedures Document policies and procedures for the operation of the SAP system Assist customers in troubleshooting of SAP suite products. Assist customers in SAP AS Java / ABAP System Administration and management Perform SAP system migration to cloud, Installations and configurations using DMO (SUM tool) and using SWPM export/import. Employ customer facing skills to represent AWS well within the customer s environment and drive discussions with technical and business teams. Identify workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration Automate solutions for repeatable problems Develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems, 5+ years of experience in a technical position. 1+ years on any Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google etc). Bachelor s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. Experience with SAP systems such as S4HANA, SAP Business Suite, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics products (BW, BPC, Business Objects), SAP Mobility, SCP, etc. and their architecture SAP OS/DB certified Associate / Professional Experience with SAP Basis / NetWeaver Administration Hands-on experience with SAP Installations, Upgrade, Patching, SAP OS/DB migrations, downtime optimization, DMO, and data center migration Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery Experience in SAP High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures Hands-on implementation experience with SAP on cloud Experience in performance optimization practices Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. Experience in AIX, Linux, Windows, SAP HANA, Oracle, , DB2 database administration Prior experience in a technical role within a services organization Experience in managing corporate wide Client Server system environment Strong deep dive troubleshooting and resolution skills Scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc. Experience in upgrade, Enhancement & support packages implementation. Experience with automated testing tools (ie. HP Loadrunner) Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment. Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. Shell, Powershell, Ansible, Terraform etc) Configuration management using CloudFormation and/or Chef/Puppet. Integration of AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.
