  • Extensive experience with Scrum Development Methodology.
  • Able to influence and drive Projects / Sprints to meet key milestones and overcome challenges.

  • Experience in formal personal development planning; and individual, team and process performance management.
  • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems and processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the projects and responsibilities of the Web and Software Developers and Software Engineer Support team.
  • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, QA and software architects to plan, design, develop, test and deliver Sprint work / products.
  • Adhere to high-quality development principles / scrum principles while delivering solutions / Sprint work on-time and on-budget.
  • Provide regular & effective progress and updates to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues.
  • Establish delivery processes for the preparation of reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
  • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
  • Identify and encourage areas of growth and improvement within the team.
  • Assess opportunities for application and development/ delivery process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with the team members and other affected parties.
  • Monitor work items of Sprint teams to ensure effective contribution by team members towards the Sprint goal.
  • Responsible for complete development lifecycle of the software systems on the lines of Agile Scrum. This includes
    • Sprint Team(s) backlog review.
    • User Story(s) forecast / commitment for Sprint by each team.
    • Sprint planning.
    • Effective capacity utilization of each Sprint team.
    • Sprint on Sprint increase in Velocity.
    • Sprint Assessment to identify areas of improvement for each Sprint team at the end of Sprint and come up with development strategies to ensure areas of improvements are addressed to closure.
  • Provides ad-hoc reporting and decision support required for management decision processes.
  • Responsible for On-time delivery and escalation to various stakeholders when necessary.
  • Report various metrics to stakeholders from time to time to provide visibility.
