Job Description

Dear Candidate,We are looking for our clients an experienced and motivated Scrum Master who possesses a balance of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and strong interpersonal skills. We want individuals who can leverage their knowledge of the Agile process to guide their assigned teams in effectively employing Scrum practices and principles; they should be highly process-driven and are go-getters who can drive Projects/product roadmap to completion.Title: Scrum MasterExperience Range: 4-5 years of industry experienceEducation: BE/B.Tech./MCA with 70% throughout academics from premier institutionsPlace of Work: HyderabadDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development lifecycle of the teams on the lines of Agile Scrum :
    • Sprint Team(s) backlog review.
    • User Story(s) forecast/commitment for Sprint by each team.
    • Conduct Sprint planning.
    • Effective capacity utilization of each Sprint team.
    • Velocity tracking and improvement.
    • Sprint Retro/Assessment to identify areas of improvement for each Sprint team at the end of Sprint and develop development strategies to ensure areas of improvement are taken to closure.
    • Clears impediments for the team
  • Collaborate with product owners, software developers, Devops, and QA to plan, develop, test, and deliver Sprint work/products.
  • Provide regular updates through reporting.
  • Highlight any delivery risks or issues.
  • Adhere to high-quality scrum principles while delivering solutions / Sprint work on time and budget.
  • Identify, highlight, and fill areas of gaps within the team.
  • Monitor work items of Sprint teams to ensure effective contribution by team members towards the Sprint goal.
  • Creates an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
Essential competencies
  • Facilitation the art of conducting meetings, retrospectives, assessments, and building relationships between teams and team members
  • Techniques to include - Program Management, Conflict Management, Agile reporting, and Retrospective.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • At least five years of work experience as a role of Scrum Master or related areas.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Active Scrum Master Certifications CSM, PSM, or equivalent.
  • Passion and drive to help the team improve and deliver great products
  • Should have the technical acumen to understand the product and project deliverables.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to articulate and communicate the technical artifacts.
